The NPTN Health and Wellness Clinic to Expand

The NPTN Health and Wellness Clinic is an interactive, on-line
medical resource for the entire family. Staffed by a core of
volunteer physicians throughout the world, the "Clinic"
provides static information files about a variety of medical
topics, as well as Q&A areas for personal, educational
purposes. No other on-line service currently offers such a
personalized question/answer feature.

The NPTN Health and Wellness Clinic is poised to expand with
the forthcoming menu update. In addition to the current seven
"clinics", several new features will be added. The Biomedical
Ethics Center will address issues such as: decisions to forgo
life-sustaining treatment, euthanasia, assisted suicide, the
"right to die", medical resource allocation, patient autonomy,
medical paternalism, and hospice care. This area will be
staffed by volunteers from Buffalo Free-Net and Los Angeles
Free-Net. The following new "clinics" have been formed: The
NPTN Plastic Surgery Clinic, The NPTN Ear, Nose and Throat
Clinic, and The NPTN Digestive Disorders Clinic.

All the physicians in the NPTN Health and Wellness Clinic are
board-certified in their particular specialties. The following
individuals are currently volunteering their time and effort
for this project:
