No, I didn't write it, of course. I will be frank, though, about one point. One thing that bothers me about the whole notion of uploading is that it fits in with far too much mythology, Christianity included. At the time of the poem, it was gold. Now, of course, I hear tell of diamond. If someone told me one day that he seriously wanted to be uploaded into a creature made of, say, soap bubbles, or even dog turds, I would listen to his reasons far more carefully.
