Subject: Memory After Thaw

Ettinger references animals functioning after brain frozen/thawed.
Behavior would have been instinctual w/o memory retention.

W/o memory retention we have no 'self'. Our bodies may be thawed with
autonomic functions, but where did 'we' go? We might as well clone
ourselves. The resultant bodies would look like us, with human
instinctual behavior that is trainable, but our childhood experiences and
earlier life memories that define our individuality is not trainable or
transferable.

Although some of my experiences, I'd be happy to extinguish from
flashback, I don't want to forget my family and other important people
and certain cherished events.

We would very much welcome any source that documents memory retention
after brain thaw.
