Alex, I regret that I have no information on this for you, but to the 
cryonics researchers in the group, may I suggest that this is a great 
opportunity!  It seems plausible that molluscs may be "primitive" enough 
that they could be reversibly cryopreserved with an adaptation of today's 
methods.  I'd expect that some (non-endangered) species could be found 
which could be obtained cheaply in large enough quantities to permit 
refining the process fairly easily.  And applying the technology to 
endangered species is an excellent application, with benefits clear and 
obvious to anyone.  Good science, good conservation.  How about it?
