Holographic Memory Uploads

Both laser-optic computer memory and the field of human "uploading" will

definately benefit by the current research being done in the field of
holograph-ic media.
A fragmented holographic plate retains the bulk of information available
on the original, although resolution decreases with each fragmentation. This
allows a staggering amount of data to be stored redundantly--much how data is
stored in the human brain.
The "holographic" model in regards to the brain and the structure of
consciousness is given a very interesting light in Michael Talbot's
"The Holographic Universe." This book might be labeled "fringe science" by
many cryonicists, but it deserves attention; just how the definitions of
death are in constant flux, the status of "fringe science" is also increasingly
ambiguous.
