One thing I like about the cryonics movement is that the members are
interested in long term stability of our society and long term
technical development.  Cryonics gives an incentive that is healthy
for our culture.  I am sure the benefit of having motivated people
thinking and working in that mindset far outweighes the hardware cost
for the actual suspension.  These people could build monuments of
another order then mere stone cathedrals.  I like cryonics, its nice
as a "religion" and "culture carrier" and even better if it works.
