Subject: Canadian Cryonics/Life Extension Pool Party Report [Re-posted]

[This message was evidently lost, so I am re-posting]

About 15-20 people attended this year's Canadian Cryonics/Life Extension
Pool Party, held at the home of Bruce Waugh in Toronto, Canada. Because of
active promotion at health fairs during the last year, most of the attendees
had more interest in life extension than cryonics. Life extension issues
dominated conversation, although cryonics issues were not neglected. I did
my best to promote Life Extension Foundation membership (which indirectly
assists cryonics through LEF sponsorship of BioPreservation/21st Century
Medicine research). Unlike previous years, where attendance was mostly
male, there were about as many women as men at this party.

One of the women attending is very active in opposing the FDA-like
actions being taken by the Canadian government to restrict freedom of
access to nutritional supplements. Her organization, "My Health, My
Rights, Inc.", offers membership and a newsletter for Cdn$25/year. Those
interested should contact:
