"Dumb and Dumber," for instance. No, I'm not being frivolous. Let me paraphrase one key scene: He: "Can you tell me if there's any chance at all of you being my girlfriend? Like, I mean--one chance in a hundred?" She: [dismissively] "Sorry, no. It's more like one in a million." He: [excitedly] "One in a million? Wow! So you're telling me I *actually do have a chance!*" This says a lot more to me about cryonics, and the reasons we opt for it, than any movie exploring possibilities on the frontiers of science. ############################################################## Charles Platt / 1133 Broadway, room 1214 / New York / NY 10010 Phone 212 929 3983 email fax 212 807 6111 Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=4806
