Hi folks!

It has been some weeks since I last posted to CryoNet. Since then, I've
unsubscribed from CryoNet via my Compu$erve account and switched to this flat
rate account. I've also enjoyed building a huge backlog of unread CryoNet due
to overwork.

So, what have I been working on? Some friends and I started EasyNet, as a
result of the second meeting of the Houston Life Extension Enthusiasts group
meeting in June. The co-founders of EasyNet are Dr. Steve Price, Anthony
Garcia, and myself.

Our first major project has been "The World of Medicine." Because Steve,
Anthony, and I all share an extropian outlook (Steve is signed up and my
insurance just came in a week ago), we've included some information about
cryonics.

Take a look at the site at Universal Resource Location
http://www.phoenix.net/~medical/
and let me know what you think. Also, send email if you have additional
material you'd like included.

I posted a notice about our site to sci.cryonics and was pleased to receive a
quick response from Alcor UK. So I presume they'll be sending along some
data. I'd be delighted to include information on domestic cryonics
organizations as well. We will be including information on non-profit
organizations within our donated advertising section. If you have a
for-profit cryonics company or group, we'll be pleased to include information
for six months at no charge (unless you happen to be in Houston, Texas, where
we have active commissioned sales people).

What will we include for free? Up to 4,000 characters of text. If you want
graphics included, we'll have to charge a small fee due to our costs in
scanning or creating graphics and hosting them on our server. That fee is a
mere $7.50 per graphic.

If you already have a cryonics related Web site, please send me the URL. We'd
love to include it in our highly organized system of reference links. Also,
if you have a definition or book review regarding a cryonics or cryobiology
topic, send it along. We also have a section for reviews of interesting
journal articles, a section listing popular magazines, and quite a bit of
other material.

If you have questions, contact me at your earliest convenience.

Sincerely,

Jim Davidson
