Subject: Re: MLM for cryonics

The answer seems simple for those who think that MLM will sell cryonics.

Join another MLM scheme, (eg Terra Libra, as they have some cryonic
content), but it could be any you care to think of, even Amway :-), make
your fortune, pay your taxes, and use any money left to pay for yuour
suspension and those of your friends.

Or you may be able to make it easier by arranging for the money to flow
into an account already dedicated to cryonics in a free country in order to
avoid taxation. Unfortunately even with Terra Libra it is expensive to set
these facilities up. (I suppose this is partly due to the fact that TL
has to interface with the existing legal profession.) Maybe Terra Libra is
no freer from a financial point of view than that other self feeding chain
system we don't seem to notice as such - the politico-legal axis. Frederick
Mann wasn't too pleased with my recent comment in Terra Libra News to the
effect that if TL is a real alternative economy it ought to offer physical
products through its marketing system.

Certainly the world does need a marketing system that is an order of
magnitude cheaper than what we have at present. I am begining to learn that
MLM isn't it, (although I must say that I have received some income from my
own membership of TL it is hardly enough to fund a cryonic suspension, even
with CI.)

Thanks to those who posted the many such well thought out messages on the
subject. Far better than vague accusations.

If we could buy everything at factory or farm gate prices, then it would be
equivalent to everyone getting a 50% income rise!
