Yes. Very interesting. I've seen nothing on this elsewhere. If the heart
tissue is really mainly undamaged after storage at LN2 temp then this would
be a major breakthrough indeed. The commonplace LN2 storage of transplant
organs will (IMO) be one of the first major steps towards the mainstream
acceptance of (and therefore research funding for) cryonics. After all, from
one point of view cryonicists are simply storing donated organs (brains) for
transplant already.

The heart (being mainly muscle) is a very tough organ, and it might not mean
that minimal-damage brain storage is yet within reach. If you hear more be
sure to post it!
