Yes, Mike does suffer from a comparative lack of mathematics. When he says
he sees turbulence, it won't necessarily be what a fluid dynamicist thinks of
as turbulence.

HOWEVER he was reporting observations. He was not telling about theories. And
of all cryonicists, Mike has the most experience with events that occur when
someone is ACTUALLY FROZEN, as distinct from the theories of cryonics, 
nanotechnology, and so on and on.

If Mike tells what he saw, I would think you would believe him -- not that he
would use the same language as you, but you would be willing to think carefully
about such things as: what could he be seeing that makes him think of
turbulence? To try to bring up lots of theory as a counter to Mike's 
OBSERVATIONS just isn't right. Not ever, not at all.
