Subject: Re: FDA Jail Threat

Your letters to U.S. Attorney David Mellinger have postponed the arrest
of the officers of The Life Extension Foundation (Saul Kent and William
Faloon) but have not eliminated the FDA's threat to imprison them and to
shut down the Foundation to "protect the public". (FYI: The apparent
charges, according to William Faloon, are "Promoting the use of unapproved
drugs", where the FDA means "unapproved drugs" to include Co-Enzyme-Q-10,
lecithin, carnitine, amino acids, and DMAE (Deaner).) I just received a
letter from The Life Extension Foundation with an update on this threat
and an appeal to write to Dexter Lehtinen (the South Florida head of the
U.S. Attorney's office, for whom Mr. Mellinger works) to request him to
drop the charges against Kent and Faloon. You can obtain a copy of this
letter by sending email to me with the "Subject" line "CRYOMSG 502.1".
