The answer, in my opinion, is that reversible suspension can be achieved for far less than half a billion dollars and that major headway in controlling aging in humans can be achieved as well for less than half a billion dollars. Stodolsky talks about "political moves aimed at capturing government resources" as "making sense". I agree. I'd love to "capture" the taxes that immortalists in the U.S. are forced to give to the government and use this to fund research, but I believe it would be more fruitful for me to continue to spend my time making and investing my own money in research. ---Saul Kent Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=5117
