I think you'll find that the most legitimate cryonics organizations will be the ones that have been around a while and gained a reputation for themselves. Alcor, for example, has been in existence for over 20 years and has proven itself worthy again and again. The other cryonics groups such as ACS, CI and Trans Time have done likewise. There are also new additions to the industry, such as a conglomerate like CryoCare, but until they have been around for a while and proved themselves as the others have, then they should of course be treated accordingly. I would advise you to get information from all the cryonics organizations (a complete list can be found in the FAQ, or I can email it to you), and I also think that you should find out as much as you can about every place you consider and ask questions of their officers and their staff and be sure to get copies of their financial statements so you can see what condition they are in. That is about the only answer I can give you. Also, if it is at all possible for you to visit the various cryonics facilities there are, then I recommend doing that as well.
