Cryonic themes have been featured in SF for well over 60 years.
It was an SF story which inspired cryonics in the first place.

Cryonics has long since reached the mainstream. I've seen at least
four references to it in _The Simpsons_. I've overheard secretaries
joke that our new copier looks like something one would keep frozen
heads in. Cryonics (from the 1990s!) was in one of the original Star
Trek episodes nearly 30 years ago.

Are there any cryonicists who *aren't* SF readers?
