Subject: New Scientist

Peter Merel writes about a New Scientist correspondent saying
that the only cryonics company he talked to wanted $2000 for the
priviledge of an interview. This is in fact routine practice for
representatives of the Cryonics Institute in the U.K. (or so I am
led to understand), and the correspondent's reaction clearly shows
how unwise-- and damaging to ALL of us --this practice is.
