The media are only too happy to do hatchet jobs on fringe groups -
"those shonky cryonicists" is a lot easier to write and sells a lot
better than, "it could work". Or they can find any of a thousand-and-
one other fringe subjects to cover. So there is no "need" and you're not
doing them any favours - why would they pay? Has any revenue ever been
raised this way? Can that revenue counter the bad publicity that a
hatchet job like the December NS article inflicts?

I think that your policy is only giving suspicious people evidence that
supports their suspicions (that cryonicists are rip-off artists).
