I'll point to two (deliberate deceptions) that are recurring themes in your posts. 1) Repeated statements (explicit and implied) that cryonics is unlikely to succeed (and cryonicists are looney ressurectionists) because we freeze legally dead people. You know perfectly well from my posts on this subject that cryonics patients are typically given CPR, which when applied < 10 minutes after cardiac arrest renders the "legal death" label moot. Under ideal conditions, the brain of a cryonics patient is as biologically alive as yours or mine at the start of the procedure. 2) Repeated assertions that some cryonicists are Con Men (with all the attendant derrogatory baggage that term implies). The only justification you provide for this pejorative is the language we use to capture attention. (And if slogans and mottos were the SOLE basis on which consumers made decisions, 99% of organizations would be "Con Men".) The reality is that NOBODY pays a penny to my organization without first reading a 3000 word essay on the problems of cryonics that make your criticisms mild by comparision. *************************************************************************** Brian Wowk CryoCare Foundation 1-800-TOP-CARE President Your Gateway to the Future http://www.cryocare.org/cryocare/ Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=5864
