This is news to me, although I must admit I haven't looked into cryonics 
for a decade or so.  Perhaps you could post more details regarding under 
what act the BC government has prohibited cryonic services.

If this legislation was passed by the NDP, it would not surprise me as 
few parties can match the imbecility with regard to oppression of 
physicians by legislation in BC that the NDP has done.  Presumable if one 
had "organic" cryonic services performed by a barefoot practitioner of 
colon-therapy, it would be legal, but I'll wait until someone posts the 
exact reference to this law before commenting further.
