Yes, but conform to what? What seemed in the past to be polarization
or "bias" in a decision making context, is now interpreted as
conformity to a "collective" norm. This norm does not actually have
to be held by anyone! There is no substitute for examining the scientific
work in this area, if you want to use that knowledge to affect the
acceptance of cryonics.
