I was working on a test circuit when things fell apart. For what it is
worth, IR detectors seem to be able to detect *breathing* within a few
feet.

Charles, oh Charles. You don't expect Tim to *beg* you to leave the
equipment do you? Arel was *there.* Before you insensives took it out,
Tim was explaining how it was going to be used to visitors on a daily
basis. Can you generate the least amount of empathy? Put yourself in
Tim's place. How would you feel about equipment for your suspention
being withdrawn? Would you have hidden being very upset?

I appreciate you and I especially appreciate Mike for who you are and
what you have done. But neither one of you has much sense for dealing
with cross cultural situations such as Tim and his household represents.
