X-Message-Number: 6269 From: Date: Sun, 26 May 1996 15:28:59 -0400 Subject: Cryonics in Australia George Smith has relayed an inquiry about availability of cryonics in Australia. Cryonics Institute offers services to members at a distance by arranging for (or helping members arrange for) the assistance of local funeral directors, who may provide help up to and sometimes including washout, perfusion, and dry ice cool-down; we provide instructions and sometimes solutions and equipment. There are a couple of cooperating funeral directors in Australia, and doubtless many more potentially available. CI has members in Australia, and one Australian patient. I'm not sure about the current status of the Alcor-related Australian cryonics group; no doubt some one at Alcor will report.
