Charles, the more you try to justify the unjustifiable, the worse it 
gets.   

You and Mike made your opinions of Tim and the people around him 
clear, and, by your actions, gave the people around Tim *reason* to 
be hostile to cryonics when they had been willing to go along with 
*anything* Tim wanted in his last days.  And, up to the point you and 
Mike walked in he *did* want to be suspended.

A year or so back, Tim considered the possibility that he could get 
both Alcor and Cryocare/BP to work on his suspension and to some 
extent heal the rift between the cryonics organizations.  Quite the 
opposite has happened.  I am not saying that the rift will never heal, 
but now you have to deal with (for example) my daughter who knows 
what happened and has formed her own opinion as to why her godfather 
was not suspended.
