X-Message-Number: 6469 Subject: PRETORIA Rat hearts: new information by A.Dolinoff- Correction Date: Sun, 07 Jul 96 00:52:52 GMT From: (Michelle Olga Visser) Re: Cryonet message # 6433 Pretoria Rat hearts : new information by A. Dolinoff In response to numerous E-Mail inquiries about "entire rats" frozen/thawed to minus 196 C, some with reference to above posting, I checked my communications with Mr. Anatole Dolinoff and found that in a progress update, I had written "....to date frozen/thawed 45 rats..." instead of "....to date frozen/thawed 45 rat hearts....", indeed a world of a difference and a most careless error, as my research does not extend to entire mammals. I apologize to Mr. Dolinoff and readers of Cryonet for this grave error, entirely my fault and for which I will offer no excuse, except that that it was entirely unintentional. Mr. Anatole Dolinoff is above reproach and entirely blameless for this error. I would like to take this opportunity to thank him for the interest and faith he has consistently displayed in my work. To the cryonicists who responded, thankyou for bringing this error to my attention as well as for your positive interest, it is highly appreciated.
