Subject: SCI CRYONICS Stock Value

Info Cryonet. In response to John de Riva's question #6456 requested by
Paul Wakfer.

the
>question of writing off losses due to share price reductions when there is
no
>public trading or even when there is, has come up many times before (eg.
with
>Royce Brown re his 21st shares in our phone conversation yesterday) and I
>don't know the full answer.
>Dave Kekich, could you please answer this one on Cryonet and sci.cryonics
>(his post went to both)?

You don't get a stock loss, whether the company is public or
private, until you actually sell your stock at a loss or until the company
goes out of business or if the stock becomes worthless. If anyone knows of
exceptions, please clarify.
