I spoke to him for several hours today. He was at the meeting which this thread started with my invitation to. He is a member of an organization which expells anyone connected with cryonics. This is an organization which he has to be a member of to remain active in cryobiology. So it's perfectly understandable that he doesn't want his name broadcast on the net. He is undecided as to whether or not he will work on the Prometheus Project even if the money is raised. But he believes the project is likely to work. > Here is another unnamed scientist ... Same one. > Please name this unidentified "scientist," fellas, ... No. I don't trust you. Judging from your hostile attitude, you would probably attempt to get him fired. > The more you look at the Prometheus Project, the more you see "$cam" > written all over it - in large letters. Fine. If you think so, then don't make any pledge. After talking with him, I'm convinced that the project is worth trying, and I hereby pledge $2000 a year for ten years. I have also removed the disclaimers that said [Note -- my hosting of this page does not constitute endorsement of this project -- Keith Lynch] from the web pages I'm maintaining.
