Subject: Good Times "virus"

Congratulations. You just spread the only kind of virus that can currently
be transmitted by e-mail: A meme, or an 'idea virus' that infects
the minds of its readers. The Good Times virus itself is a hoax,
unless you're counting this meme. The only way the 'Good Times virus'
can wipe out your hard drive is if you're naive enough to believe that
it will hurt your computer and therefore choose to reformat your own
hard drive in a mistaken belief that this will kill it.

Legends of its existence have been around for years, though, and
therein lies the problem (and the paradoxical joke). The existence
of this memetic virus insidiously wastes the time of all of the people who
spread it, all the people who read about it, and all the people (like me)
who feel the need to notify other people THAT THERE IS NO GOOD TIMES VIRUS.
