Mr. Merel writes: > It seems pretty obvious from what's been posted that Leary dismissed > cryocare because they pissed him off by being less than diplomatic. I hope I won't seem to be quibbling if I say that in fact CryoCare was extremely diplomatic, and CryoCare was not dismissed. Rather, Leary made a general decision to reject cryonics regardless of its source--CryoCare or any other organization, diplomatic or otherwise. A long article on the Leary case will appear, with photographs, in the next issue of CryoCare Report. The text of the article, without photographs, has already been posted to our web page: http://www.cryocare.org/cryocare In addition I understand that the next issue of Cryonics magazine will contain an article by Steve Bridge on the Leary case; and the next issue of Extropy magazine will contain an article by Max More on the Leary case. I hope that these three articles will be sufficient to satisfy everyone's curiosity and/or grievances. --Charles Platt Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=6731
