I certainly did not ascribe bad motives, and I didn't think I said anything about incompetence. I merely quoted Bob's own statement that the money would probably be better spent on publicity, and I concluded from this that he must feel less of a pressing need for reversible brain cryopreservation; and therefore I concluded that he must feel more sanguine about the current status quo than I do. Of course this was conjecture, and I'd be happy if Bob could show me the flaw in my logic. But so far, I don't see it. I certainly didn't mean to imply disapproval. If Bob's priorities are different from mine, or he has more faith in PR than I do, we can agree to differ. I did feel it was useful to talk about the underlying motives that cause some of us to think that the Prometheus Project is a great idea, while others lack enthusiasm for it. That was what I was trying to get at. Nothing more. --Charles Platt (speaking for me, not CryoCare) Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=6783
