"I've been told......must be considered hearsay." Hmmm Actually, my letter to the *PHOENIX* was a correction/elaboration to the initial story printed there the prior month. And that correction was based on information posted here by Mssrs. Platt & Wowk. The article in the current *CRYONICS* is complete. >My own account of the Leary standby is still on the CryoCare web page at >http://www.cryocare.org/cryocare, and this account will be printed in the >upcoming issue of CryoCare Report, with several photographs. The Report is >being assembled now and should be mailed within two weeks. > >I won't be saying anything more about this case, since I've said it all >before. > >--Charles Platt On 8/15, I posted here a minor correction to Platt's web article, on an issue of which I had first hand knowledge & he had none (if I had the time to look, I'd wager that the article hasn't been corrected). Other than that, and as I said then, I believe that Platt's article was factually correct. Thanks to that article, I feel no need to editorialize or criticize because Platt has painted *exactly* the picture of himself and his "standby" which I had envisioned.
