It is my experience and opinion, that steering committees don't usually work efficiently, and they create more problems than they are trying to solve. Also, there gets to much ego involved with 10 or 20 people who have control, all trying to control a thing than just 1 great person. I think that all the people in the world with good intentions, cannot even come close to 1 man with a quest and a personal purpose in life, who is working on his baby project. I know this because I have been there myself many times, also I have presided over many steering committees. As as an inventor for years, and have been around many others of like-kind who endear their creations like know other can even imagine doing. Paul has the spirit of an Eagle, and all he needs is worthy suggestions, and cooperation from great team players who have the determination to succeed as much as their leader. Leaders can be a good thing, if they are benevolent in their doings and their quest. I believe deep down, Pail is both! We just need more people like Paul to step up and do their own part in this great project. There is much to be done without reinventing a new leader, taking the chance of total disaster. Our pledge and any future pledges, is contingent upon Paul, the one who has the quest in his soul, remaining in control of this great child of an idea as long as possible, at least until it grows up. I know from personal experiance that know one can raise a child just like the parent can. There can be good helpers, but the child needs that parent. A great company is no diffrent than raising a child. It must be directed corectly, and it must grow according to it's designers will if it is to succeed. It's designer must also grow along side of it, and learn from errors made. Beleve me there will be errors made. Expect it, so you aren't thrown by them. Everyone can then learn from these errors together, and grow together. But still be one for all, and all for one! This is the way that will work best in most situations. I for one Organization, believe in Paul until he proves beyond a doubt to me otherwise. Paul is a great leader, know all he needs is other great people assisting him, and this project will succeed! Let's all get to it! Loren Hardy world Humanitarian Resource Network Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=7244
