The Prometheus Project:

     Fully perfected suspended animation within 20 years.

Two More Pledgers - including one from New Zealand!

     The Prometheus Project pledge total is now $328,600 per year for ten
years. We are now within $5,000 of the one-third mark. I hope that we can
make that level before the A4M conference next weekend at which the
Prometheus Project will be represented and campaigning for pledges.

     A few days ago, I received a pledge of $1,000 per year from Clay Young
of Atlanta, Georgia who wrote:

>I have been reading the Cryonet postings to see how events have unfolded

>have responded sooner but I kept putting it off because of personal
>problems, like becoming part of my ex-company's downsizing and seeking a new

Clay writes that he is not yet signed up but is working hard to do so soon.

     Then, today, I received a pledge from very far away. Peter Hassall of
Wellington, New Zealand pledged $1,500 per year and wrote in his message:

>I am not yet signed with a cryonics organisation, but I am comparing 
>information about the various ones and am interested in getting signed up in
>the near future. I live in New Zealand, so that's a new category for your
>country breakdown!

A big thank-you goes out to both Clay and Peter for helping propel this
pledge campaign forward and ensure that perfected suspended animation will be
available to save our lives when we need it as we all surely will.

Pledge Campaign Statistics

     The pledge totals in each dollar level are now:

          3 for $50,000 per year for 10 years,
          9 for $10,000 per year for 10 years,
          7 for $5,000 per year for 10 years,
          1 for $4,000 per year for 10 years,
          1 for $2,500 per year for 10 years,
          6 for $2,000 per year for 10 years,
          3 for $1,500 per year for 10 years,
          3 for $1,200 per year for 10 years ($100 per month),
          27 for $1,000 per year for 10 years,

The 60 pledges total $3,286,000 over all ten years.
44% of the pledgers having pledged 17% of the total are not signed up with
any cryonics organization.
