More Pledges from the A4M Conference

     The Prometheus Project pledge total is now $343,100 per year for ten
years. This was achieved by a $2,000 per year pledge from Karl Schreyer and a
$1,000 per year pledge from Authur Naiman who were both attending the
American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) conference in Las Vegas last
weekend. Both Karl and Aurthur (I believe) are signed up cryonicists who had
already heard about the Project.

     In addition, I distributed 1500 one page summaries of the Prometheus
Project to conference attendees and talked with a number of conference
attendees, speakers and organizers about the Project. Generally, it was very
well received. I hope to get many requests for more information from
conference attendees in the following weeks. As with any new idea, it is
important to both initially inform people and then keep the ideas in front of
them. The second or third time they hear about the idea may be when they look
carefully at it and decide to pledge. I didn't expect anyone to come up to me
and say "All my life, I have been waiting for this, here's my $100K per year
pledge!" (although it sure would have been nice).

Pledge Campaign Statistics

     The pledge totals in each dollar level are now:

          3 for $50,000 per year for 10 years,
          10 for $10,000 per year for 10 years,
          7 for $5,000 per year for 10 years,
          1 for $4,000 per year for 10 years,
          1 for $2,500 per year for 10 years,
          7 for $2,000 per year for 10 years,
          4 for $1,500 per year for 10 years,
          3 for $1,200 per year for 10 years ($100 per month),
          28 for $1,000 per year for 10 years,

The 64 pledges total $3,431,000 over all ten years.
44% of the pledgers having pledged 16% of the total are not signed up with
any cryonics organization.
