Subject: CRYONICS: Alcor North CA Meeting Sunday Jan. 12 - Bedford Day

The next Alcor Northern California cryonics meeting will be held on Sunday,
January 12 at 4:00 PM followed by a potluck supper and socializing. We will
celebrate Bedford Day, the 30th anniversary of the freezing of James
Bedford, considered the first cryonic suspension. Bedford is still frozen
and is currently stored at Alcor.

Directions: From Highway 101, take the Whipple Street exit in Redwood City.
If you've been going north on 101, turn left at the end of the ramp, go
over 101, and continue on Whipple until you've crossed Industrial
Boulevard. If you've been going south on 101, the exit ramp becomes
Veteran's Boulevard. You want to get in the rightmost lane, and take the
first right, which will be Whipple. Continue until you cross Industrial
Boulevard. After crossing Industrial, the next right on Whipple is Lenolt.
Take it, and cross A, B , and C streets. 1618 will be on your right,
between C and D streets.

>From 280, take Edgewood Road (Redwood City). Go east.  Take a left on the
>Alameda De Las Pulgas.  Go about two blocks south, and make a left onto
>Whipple (Sequoia hospital will be on your right).  Continue, crossing El
>Camino Real, then the train tracks.  The left after the traffic light will
>be Lenolt.  Take it, and cross A, B, and C streets. 1618 will be on your

Alcor Northern California meetings are held on the second Sunday of each
month at various locations in the San Francisco Bay Area. Anyone interested
in cryonics is welcome to attend.
