Hotline Effective immediately there is an 800 number for events that pertain to cryonics specifically and nanotechnology and future medicine in general. The 800 number is 373-9255. I'll update it monthly with the dates of each groups meetings and any special events that come along. The first such special event is April 26th in New York when Dr. Ralph Merkle give a talk on molecular nanotechnology. The Special Guest of the evening will be Saul Kent talking about cryonics new research. Charles Platt will moderate. On May 1st, the hotline will list the meetings for May. If anyone has any special announcments they would like to be put on the hotline please let me know what they are before May 1 by calling 212-696-8699. You can leave your message on the tape. If you'd like to leave contact names for your group, please designate. Much love as always, Mike Date: 21 Apr 92 16:21:14 EDT From: Michael <> Subject: IACO Media Mailing List The following are some of the national organizations and individuals on the IACO mailing list. All of this media is Manhattan based, so I can be immediately available to them with a local call. Each of the people on the list and some contact names in the listed organizations get at least two mailings a month, one being the Alcor New York newsletter written by Charles Platt, the other a special event announcment and invitation to attend. The key local and Manhattan based international media get at least one mailing a month. Positive awareness of cryonics could eventually be helpful with any of these influential people. They will have had a background of supportive information. We always need to upgrade our list, especially within large organizations, so please send me any contacts you may have developed. If anyone has special mailings they would like for me to include, please let me know.
