It still looks like a very good idea. As for whether hypersubzero repairs are NECESSARY, that is a separate issue, still, deserving much more discussion than it has received. (The issue is not whether or not if developed carefully such methods might work, but whether they are the only possible methods which might work). I personally hope that for most cryonicists that issue becomes irrelevant -- but as I explained at the recent Alcor conference, bad suspensions can happen to every one of us. To Mr. de Rivaz: Ouch! Why is it that so many people immediately think of paranoid scenarios for the future? India is not going to dissolve into anarchy just because more males get born than females. Nor, for that matter, are we limited to controlling the sex of offspring when "WE" want to control the population --- whoever "WE" are.
