Perhaps well known to Charles, but not to me. Anyhow I'm glad he refrained
from ranting because in this case I don't think it's appropriate. In fact I
think the ban on human cloning experimentation was an astute move intended
to allay publice fears that could have lead to a complete ban on cloning.
He has bought some time in which the public can be  educated on the
tremendous benefits of animal cloning. I also doubt very much that he
really believes his ban will stop research into human cloning, and I doubt
that he wants it to.

  I believe he received, and acted upon, good advice from the scientific 
  community.
