Perhaps well known to Charles, but not to me. Anyhow I'm glad he refrained from ranting because in this case I don't think it's appropriate. In fact I think the ban on human cloning experimentation was an astute move intended to allay publice fears that could have lead to a complete ban on cloning. He has bought some time in which the public can be educated on the tremendous benefits of animal cloning. I also doubt very much that he really believes his ban will stop research into human cloning, and I doubt that he wants it to. I believe he received, and acted upon, good advice from the scientific community. Ron S Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=7817
