Subject: Re: DNA Storage

Considering that this may be a useful idea, and also that it's a bit late
to get youthful samples for some, can anyone provide insight on whether
items such as the following might have some value to future restoration:

1) a baby tooth kept in an envelope for decades

2) sample of hair from about age 1, similarly kept in envelope

?

If these items might have any value, what would be the best way to
preserve them from further decomposition?

Any thoughts appreciated.

B.F.
