Minor editorial changes, mainly for expansion of information content, have been made by Alcor.] ANNOUNCEMENT The 3rd Annual High Rollers' Conference on Cryonics and Low-Temperature Medicine will be held May 16-18, 1997, at Don Laughlin's Riverside Resort and Casino in Laughlin, Nevada. There is no charge (registration or admission fee) for the conference itself. Those wishing to make reservations for hotel accommodations may call 1-800-227-3849, and mention the High Rollers' Conference. To make sure you get the best rate, it would be adviseable to say that you are registering under "Group Number 566976". Friday, May 16th, will be a social hour from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Don's Hideaway Lounge. Saturday will be devoted to presentations by researchers and others from such organizations as Alcor, BioTime Inc. and The Prometheus Project (this is only a preliminary list). Sunday morning will be a round-table discussion concerning the possible creation of a "cryobiology mutual fund", cochaired by H. Jackson Zinn and Stockbroker Reid Lowden.
