But much of what you would need to time-reverse consists of infrared photons racing away from Earth in all directions at the speed of light. Even if we were able to detect and analyze all photons over an area of many square light-years, first we would have to travel faster than light to get ahead of them. Forget it. If the information to reconstruct a patient isn't *in* the patient, that patient isn't coming back.
