Subject: CRYONICS simulated scientists

A bit more about simulation problems:

Suppose a programmer sets up a simulated world with a complete population of

simulated people--but the programmer does not have a full and accurate knowledge
of all the laws of physics (which will almost certainly be the case for a long

time to come). Now what happens when the simulated scientists do their simulated
experiments?

Certain observations and results that would be available in the original world
will not be available in the simulation. In addition, possible anomalies in the
axioms ("laws") of the simulation may be revealed. In either case, the
simulation will quickly deviate sharply from the original, and in the latter
case the system may crash.
