I would suggest the following:

My experience is that postmortem samples for transformation are not
viable.  In my hands, cells placed in culture failed to grow.  This may
be associated with rapid autolysis and other variables associated with
death. Those very few cultures that initially "appeared" to be growing
would be quickly swamped out by bacterial and fungal contamination.
Frankly, the "growth" was likely artefactual.

Instead, I would suggest that you contact a local forensic and/or
hospital  pathologist on how best to store plugs of frozen tissue and/or
isolated DNA from tissue for long term storage.  Both protocols for
freezing tissue and DNA extraction should be readily available from a
pathologist.  Tissue samples could be periodically removed for DNA
isolation or isolated DNA could be used directly for testing. 
Unfortunately, thawing and freezing degrades the DNA over time.

Anyone else who has the protocol for taking, cultivating and freezing
live cells in such a way that these survive the freezing?
It should be in a text book somewhere.

There are several of us here in Norway that are interested in
having cell samples taken 
, cultivated and frozen for a price.
Dr. Chavez used to provide that service while he worked for Vivigen
in Santa Fe New Mexico a few years ago,
However he and Vivigen no longer provide that service,
The whole procedure including long term storage in liquid Nitrogen
used to cost around $350 for cell samples and slightly less for blod
samples.
