The book appears to have been written as a sort of poke at the excesses of surgery, and the author took out a U. S. patent on the process with a view to controlling its use should someone else develop it. Flemming proposed a unit upon which the head would reside rather than a transplant, but if there is no neural connection the difference between that and transplantation is slight in practise. I have a few copies of this book left if anyone in the UK or Europe wants one, and could find the address of the US publisher if copies are wanted there. -- ***************************************** Sincerely, * Longevity Report * * http://www.longevb.demon.co.uk/lr.htm * John de Rivaz * Fractal Report * * http://www.longevb.demon.co.uk/fr.htm * * Music I like - see homepage * ***************************************** In the information age, sharing can increase world wealth enormously, because giving information does not decrease your information. http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/JohndeR Fast loading, very few slow pictures Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=8713
