In my freshman writing seminar on the 60's we spoke briefly of Leary, and what I did learn of Leary piqued my interest just enough to make me watch the movie. The movie was a biography of Leary beginning with his days at Harvard and ending shortly after his clinical death. The movie itself was fantastic, but I was in no way prepared for the ending. At the end of the movie Leary is pronounced dead, his head is removed and placed on ice, and finally his head is shown inside some sort of containment apparatus. I don't know how realistic this biographical documentary is, but I wouldn't be surprised if Leary chose cryonic suspension as his final head trip. -Josh <paraindent><param>out,out</param> ****************************** SUBVERT THE DOMINANT PARADIGM! ****************************** ######################################################### ********************************************************* "Sacred cows make the tastiest hamburger." -Abbie Hoffman ********************************************************* ######################################################### _------------------------------------------------------------------_ | | | * * <<<<| | | * * _______________ | | | ____ * __*/ \_|___ | | /Bite\ * / * /^\ | \ | | |Baby,\ _ * ( */ \_/^----o O ) | | \Bite!/ \ * ( ) | | -----\_ o/ * \__ __/ | | | * \___________________/ | | _/^\_ | |_ Josh Glasstetter --> _| ------------------------------------------------------------------</paraindent> Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=8903
