In our conversation a few minutes ago, he reminded me that our plans for the pilot project funds usage call for using the research institute's grant for salaries and consumables, and using "our" money to purchase the equipment that will be used. In this manner, we will end up owning the equipment and can use it for further experimental work, removing it to another site if the research is continued elsewhere after the pilot project is completed. Thus, most of the initial money that is donated be spent on capital goods and not just used up. This accumulation of equipment assets should allow succeeding research to accomplish more for a given amount of money. Again, I urge everyone to try to see their way clear to help finance this important start-up project. It becomes clearer and clearer every day that, scientifically, we *can* perfect suspended animation in 20 years. Now all we have to do is find the money to fund the research to do it. -- Paul -- Voice/Fax: 909-481-9620 Page: 800-805-2870 The Prometheus Project -- http://prometheus.morelife.org Perfected Suspended Animation for Patient Stabilization until Cures for Their Terminal Diseases are Available Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=8944
