From: Fred Chamberlain <> Subject: First Immortal Website $ CryoNet Post #9012 by Richard L. Zagorski Jim Halperin (also on distribution for this email) pointed out to me, yesterday, that the beta version of "The First Immortal" website is up and running, link accessible through http://www.randomhouse.com - I took a look, and right on the main index page of Random House, it's the second item down, with a graphic of the cover and a synopsis (in about 15 words) which would be almost irresistible to anyone who might be interested. A separate domain name will be in effect within a week or so at: http://www.firstimmortal.com, so at that point there will be two pathways. The website itself has great graphics, and already includes a "link section" to virtually everything going on in cryonics, including CryoNet and all of the organizations. There are sample chapters, interactive "Talk With The Author" ways to post comments (which could turn into a forum of sorts), and more than I should take up space with here. (Comment to Richard L. Zagorski, Re: his CryoNet Post #9012) Richard - I think it's great that your reaction matches what I thought might be the result of reading "The First Immortal", and encourage you (and anyone else who feels this way) to post your thoughts on this, at the book's website (above). I haven't gotten around to putting any comments into it yet, but the most meaningful reviews are sure to be those of people like yourself (see below, reprinted after this reply, because it's just *too good* not to repeat). Thanks again, Richard, for telling us how "The First Immortal" came across for you!
