In my earlier post today, I didn't quite do justice to Steve Bridge's comment
on the difficulty of estimating odds for individual cryonics patients.

It is true, of course, that if a particular patient was frozen under unusually
adverse conditions, his chances are worse than average. It is also true that
quantifying this difference is difficult. Nevertheless (see my booklet) it is
ALWAYS possible to make an estimate, and USUALLY the estimate is not too rough
to be useful. It is RARE that one must shrug and say, "The probability is one
half plus or minus one half."
