Hi again!

I'm putting in my replies to all 3 messages at once.

To Freeman:
Ordinarily we accept that infants can become full citizens with full
rights and an understanding of who, what, and where they are in no more
than 21 years. It seems to me that on revival any one of us ought to be
able to adapt to any future time, no matter how distant, on some similar
timescale ... given that those who revive us do so not out of curiosity
or play but from good will towards us. (Neglected infants do NOT adapt).

I therefore do not think that revival after 3000 years, or 10,000 years,
or whatever falls so cleanly into the two possibilities Tim Freeman
mentions. A great deal depends on how we are treated AFTER our revival.
If cryonicists, or venturists, or their ideological descendants, do the
revival I doubt that we would have any trouble at all. We might inevitably
have a rough 21 years of growth, but life is rough anyway. As for identity,
I think the problem is much the same as that of whether we lose our
identity if we live for 1000 years --- and not something to worry about.

To Platt:
Hmm. One MORE cryonics newsletter! I'd be happy to both be placed in it,
and to subscribe. I assume that Mr. Platt has experience with these things.
As everyone knows, I put out my own newsletter, and I'm happy doing it,
but it's not a downhill run.

To Klien:
How can I arrange to subscribe to your newsletter? Possibly I'll find
that you're doing things of interest only to Nevadans, and possibly not.
Is there any way I can buy a few samples?

Best and long life to everyone
