Instead, I see what technology has done for the 'ne'er do well' in society. I know people who live comfortably in shared housing (i.e. 3 adults in an apartment), who get by with one or two working at any one time, never for very long at the same job, and having enough to cover recreational expenses (hobbies, renting videotapes). In past generations, the luxury of such lesiure did not exist. You had to work hard unless you were part of the priveleged upper class. In my own life, as an engineer, I will reach the point of financial independance after 15 years, this means I will have enough assets to live off the accumulation. What I see is technology has made it cheaper to live, whatever level of technology you incorporate into your lifestyle. Dani Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=932
